Launch College Counseling received excellent feedback for yesterday’s College Essay Brainstorming Workshop. Students represented 4 different area high schools and all actively participated in generating great ideas for their common application essays. One participant commented that “she liked the intimacy of the small group atmosphere and felt very comfortable”. Another commented “that the workshop was very helpful”. By the end of the free workshop, all the participants were well on their way to creating strong first drafts of their essays. This was the second Launch College Counseling free college essay workshops offered this summer. We look forward to offering more free workshops in the future all with the aim to demystify and reduce stress in the college search and application process.
